Stomach Contents, (c. 1929)Glore Psychiatric Museum, St. Joseph, MO
One of the Glore Museum’s most popular exhibits is the result of a surgery in which 1,446 items were removed from a female patient’s stomach. Looks like she was busy putting nails and pins in her breakfast. I wrote about this place in one of my very first posts back in August 2010, which reminds me…hey new followers, check out the archive because a lot of shit has been covered here in the last year and a half that you might want to, you know, check out. Come on, you wouldn’t be on the internet if you didn’t love to waste time.
