There’s not much to say about the Spear Hunting Museum, except that I’m surprised to learn Alabama has African big game. Oh, and carrying a spear gives you bad posture. And you’ll always be on time for the big hunt if you wear a wristwatch. Also, did you know Gene Morris is the “Greatest Living Spear Hunter in the World”? Not sure who’s the “Greatest Dead Spear Hunter in the World” but I think a lion or a member of PETA probably killed him. Almost forgot - need to write on my to-do list to NEVER visit Summerdale, Alabama. For my own safety of course. Even though David R Morris writes on the museum’s facebook that it’s a “great place to take your kids”. So forget what I just said and listen to Mr. Morris. Plan a family trip to the Spear Hunting Museum today! And while you’re at it make sure to pick up a copy of “Hunting Boars with Spears” and its sequel “Hunting Alligators with Harpoons” on DVD.
