If you’ve seen one antique mall, then you’ve seen them all. So it’s not life-shattering that B&B Antiques in North Myrtle Beach is closing its doors FOREVA…but what will happen to its impressive display of statues? Yes, the store’s known for having lots and lots of life-size, colorful statues in the parking lot and inside the store: Santa Claus, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, a Marine in full dress uniform, a Hot Dog Man, the Blues Brothers…to name just a few. And add to the mix various Pirate dudes with buxom babes, a few objectionable lawn jockeys and grinning black children holding watermelon slices and you got yourself a weird and random collection. And let’s not forget the pink flamingos (John Waters would be proud). All these items are for sale of course, so they will all probably end up in somebody’s backyard or man cave. But to split such a weird collection is absolutely tragic for South Carolina…for America…for the World!!!
