So many strange and interesting museums in the world. For example, the Chamber Pot Museum in Munich, Germany. This tumblr has covered toilets before (specifically toilet seat art). But what about life before the invention of toilets? Well, the Munich Museum had a collection of over 2,000 pots where royalty used to do their business. Unfortunately, the museum is now closed and the whereabouts of the pots are undetermined. But I am happy to report there are other chamberpots in the world that are fully accounted for in museumland. The ones I am talking about live in the Chamber Pot Museum (Museo del Orinal) in Ciudad Rodrigo, Spain. Made of a variety of materials and coming from 27 countries, the museum is home to 1,321 chamber pots and receives 20,000 visitors every year.
