So apparently Jordan is famous for being the name of a country and not the chick who’s famous for having fake breasts. I’m kidding. Of course I knew that. As we continue along the journey of seeking out some different countries, I’m shocked that this blog has not yet covered the Middle East. So here we go. This small museum is located in the foundations of a Roman Amphitheatre complex (built nearly 2000 years ago) in Amman. You can learn about historic Jordan and Palestine with displays of traditional clothing, jewelry, pottery and other products etc. all within the setting of Ancient Rome. Cool! If the United States had a Museum of Popular Traditions, I’d like to think it would contain a bunch of recliners, a bucket of fried chicken and possibly an Elvis statue, all within a fake Roman McMansion. Sounds about right.
