American Telephone Purse, 1980 (it actually works…ahead of its time)
Sorry that I’ve been missing for nearly a week. Even though I’m female, I’m not much of a shopper of anything and that includes clothes, shoes and purses. But I never said I was a normal female. But if I was, then I’d probably check out the Museum of Bags and Purses in Amsterdam (known as Tassenmuseum Hendrikje in Dutch). It has a private collection of over 4,000 bags of every variety. Believe it or not, there are two other purse museums in the world, but this is the world’s largest and best known. The adjacent café and gift shop make this place a worthwhile stop for anyone remotely interested in these things. Or even those who aren’t, because I believe Europe has some of the best museum cafés.
