Skulls Unlimited is not the name of the newest, coolest band; it’s the world’s largest supplier of bone specimens to museums and medical colleges…and to little old you. Hey, if you want to buy a one-of-a-kind reptile skeleton, that’s none of my business. It’s your money! Anyway, right next door to the skull business in Oklahoma City is the Museum of Osteology, America’s only skeleton museum. With 300 skeletons and 400 skulls on display, this place is, like, a big boner for people who dig bones. If you were wondering how tasty meat is removed from carcasses and corpses, near the museum entrance are aquariums full of flesh-eating beetles inside of skulls. Yum! Other collection highlights include a reassembled 40-foot-long humpback whale, a Komodo Dragon, five two-headed calves and the skull of the nearly extinct Javan rhinoceros. Well, I think we can all agree this museum has a few skeletons in its closet. I know. Bad joke. Sorry!
