It seems like the perfect time to pay a visit to the Museum of the Modern Snowglobe in Somerville, Massachusetts. It all started in 1997 with a random gift from Philadelphia, now there are nearly 200 items in the collection, with the most recent acquisition coming from the Bronx Zoo. Oddly, the most snow globes come from Las Vegas with six altogether (including one of Liberace), while states that have a lot of snow, like Montana and Michigan, are not represented at all. So yes, kids…this tumblr proves yet again there is a museum for just about anything.
P.S. The Museum of the Modern Snowglobe was a micro museum that existed from 2010-2012. Currently it exists in our hearts.
