Once upon a time in a land far, far away I once wrote a post about The World’s Largest Collection of the World’s Smallest Versions of the World’s Largest Things Traveling Roadside Attraction and Museum. On a somewhat related note, the goal of Teako’s Giants of Hatch in New Mexico is to collect and bring together giant and familiar statues. In 2006, Teako Nunn opened Sparky’s BBQ restaurant to display his love of “large” things: a giant pig and hot dog advertise the place with signs, a huge Uncle Sam statue greets visitors in the parking lot, A&W Mama & Papa Burgers sit on the roof, and a fiberglass Muffler Man holds a tiny Winnebago in his hand.
