I don’t know anything about Alabama, both the band and the state; and apparently nobody else does either. Maybe that’s not entirely true. After all, the band had 30 number one hits on the country charts and sold over 73 million records. They sound so popular. Hey, maybe they should consider running for public office. Think about it. Shortest name on the ballot…“Alabama”…easy to read, nothing to really think about. Looks like Obama finally has some competition. Fortunately, Alabama has an official headquarters located at the intersection of State Hwy 35 & U.S. Hwy 11 in you guessed it…ALABAMA!!! For only $25, members can visit the fan club, gift shop and museum. Not sure what one finds in this here museum, but one can only guess.
P.S. I just learned only 4.7 million people live in the great state of Alabama. WHA? I probably see at least half of that number every single day. (shudder)
