If you’re into signs (and I mean who isn’t?) then make sure you go to Lynchville, Maine where a very popular destination has been located for over 50 years. Numerous road-trippers and tourists like to pose for an old school photo-op next to the ‘World Traveler’ sign. Though the big road sign with arrows points to far-away-sounding places like Poland and China, they’re actually all pointing to nearby towns (you really thought Norway was only 14 miles away…come on!?!). You’ll wow the folks back home by showing them that Maine is a very ‘original’ place. “Look, grandpa! I was only 46 miles away from Peru! Peru, Maine!”
