If you are a knife-wielding firestarter, then I probably don’t want to know you. But I can at least help you out with summer plans. Maybe consider visiting the Zippo/Case Museum in Bradford, Pennsylvania. This 15,000 square foot (!) building covers the Zippo lighter’s cultural influence throughout world history, like its connection to WWII Allies, NASA Astronauts and the most important movie of all time. Broken lighter? Don’t worry…you can visit the “world famous” Zippo Repair Clinic (kind of reminds me of the Doll Hospital at the American Girl Store). Have a thing for giant things? A giant Case Canoe three blade pocketknife is on display. And for the history nuts out there, you can “oohh” and “aahh” at the very first Zippo lighter as well as the famed Zippo Car from 1947.
